Default Hyperlink Text

Hello,



I have a field for a hyperlink linking to network storage for inventory manuals.

The hyperlink itself is uber long, and ugly.

How do I display "Manual" as the hyperlink if I have linked a document to that record? And if there is no manual, then the hyperlink field will not be visible?

This seems easy ....

OK, update.

I figured out the "Text to Display" when adding a hyperlink.

Is it possible to create a default "Text to Display" so the user does not have to enter it in every time?

I don't think can do that with the intrinsic hyperlink dialog.

Yeah, I see how I can do that to each individual hyperlink, I'd just like it to do it as soon as the file is dropped in. All I really need is for the text to change to something simpler so it looks cleaner.
