Updating Chart in main form after entering data in subform

Hello all,

I am trying to get my chart updated with the "AfterUpdate" field in my subform. The code looks like: me.Parent!MYCHARTNAME.Requery
It does not seem to work. If I edit my subform, I am able (after selecting my chart in the main form) to refresh the chart. That is exactly what I want to see when I edtit the data in the subform. A button somewhere that could do the same is also an option.
