Mail Merge problem

Hello all, I'm having a fairly simple problem but I cant figure it out.

Basically, when I create a word merge, one of the fields I'm using is an email-hyperlink field. The final product in the word document shows xxxx@gmail.com:mailto:xxxx@gmail.com.



How do I get rid of the "mailto" part when using this field in word merge?

From what little experience I have with Word merge, seem to remember it does not like calculated fields. However, if I am wrong, try:

Left([fieldname], InStr([fieldname],":")-1)

[cbende2]

Use that as the field insert in the word document?
