    Trouble copying and pasting

I have a form with a few subforms inside of it and I thought I was all set copying and pasting. I just copy and pasted my main form 5 times and created the 5 different forms I wanted only to go back and find that they all update together and I now have 5 copies of the last form I made. How do I copy my main form and paste it with the ability to modify the form and the subforms within it?

A copy of a form will be exactly the same.

While in "Design View", edit the form's properties to distinguish it from other copies.

    Hi -

I'm not sure quite what you mean, but copying the main form does not create new copies of the subform(s). If you edit the sub-form in one of those 5 main form copies, those changes will be reflected in ALL 5 of the main forms. If you want different versions of the sub-forms as well, you will need to make 5 copies of them too, each with different names, and then modify the main forms to use the proper sub-form.

Thanks I ended up figuring out I could I could make 5 copies of the 5 subforms and that's working just fine now. Thank you!
