valid name error on saved import

Greetings! I have a saved import of an excel spreadsheet. Every morning when I put a new copy of the spreadsheet on the network and try to run the import, it tells me " 'kpo00008_2876433$' is not a valid name. Make sure that it does not include invalid characters or punctuation and that it is not too long" (KPO_Import.xlsx is the name of the file). When I delete the saved import, import it fresh and save the fresh one, it runs fine. The next day, same story.

I suspect something is getting corrupted in Access when looking at the filename and it's bombing on that dollar sign. But I don't know where that's coming from. I have another file in the same folder that works fine each morning - weird...

    Has anyone got suggestions?

    Thanks!!

    Using Access 2010 - 32bit
    Win 7 64 bit
File and Access DB are on the same network location, different folders.

Can you describe what a saved import is?

How are you importing, VBA? Can you post code?

Probably means a saved Import/Export Specification.
How to attach file: http://www.accessforums.net/showthread.php?t=70301 To provide db: copy, remove confidential data, run compact & repair, zip w/Windows Compression.
