I have a database I created that is normalized and now they want it migrated to SharePoint which means I have to migrate it to Web Access 2010. I was successful in moving all the tables but the main one that has the relationship to the others. It keeps giving me this error about creating lookups. So, I went in and did this and it still gives me the same errors. I just went out and bought 250 dollars worth of Access 2010 to SP books and every single one says, whenever possible, start with a clean Web Access database. Migrating is extremely difficult because of violations. Ok. So, all my tables moved fine but the main. So, I am recreating it in the Web Access and so far so good. So, now I try and bring in that WRONG table or INCOMPATIBLE table and it will not let me. Ok, so how to get my data into this table. 1.3 million rows, no way entering manually. So, I went back to original data which is broken out into 9 tables. I started with the first that has 19k rows. That will not import either. So, exported to Excel and then tried importing to my Web DB and auto append to my main table and YES...........oh wait..........not appending all records. Stating key violations for 1344 of the records. Why? Well, some of the fields in the main table are null. For example:
QID YR_ID MTH_ID MEASURES_ID PROG_ID LOB_ID BUS_ID PROD_ID ST_ID CONTACT_ID FREQ_ID COMM_LVL_ID COMM_ID MBRS_TARGETED MBRS_REACHED MBRS_CONVERTED ATTACHMENT Q1UPDATE Q2UPDATE Q3UPDATE Q4UPDATE PROG_ENTDT TIMESTAMP 1 2 1 137 35 2 14 7 1 22 11 1 7

So, am I just losing my marbles and there is no way to do this and get it to work? I am really going bonkers here with this whole project. It has been a nightmare from day 1 and I am lost. I am not an Access person. I know SAS. I will continue reading through these books but I am so running out of time and am sure if I do not figure this out I will be fired. Of course when I accepted this job I was told this would be in SAS.
