Hello... I have a database with well over 30,000 files on it. I work for a company that uses it to keep track of customers. I personally don't use it, but have been given the task of figuring out why its causing these issues...
before I begin, I want to say I feel it may be a corruption issue.
Yesterday 5/20/2014 at 6:02 pm ET was the last known good point. At 10 pm the owner of the company entered a new account # and customer information and it completely wiped out all the data in the database.
I can restore to the last known good point of Access on our server but every time we enter a new account and customer it wipes everything out... if I look at the queries and stored data in design view or in excel I can see all the information, including the new account that was just entered. But when I open the Access Database and enter an acct#, zip code or any other piece of information to search, empty spaces are all that's shown.
If anyone has any advice to what my next step should be in fixing this, it would be greatly appreciated!
Thank you in advance!
