macro to fill empty cells in a row but only from specific columns

    Hi,

Beginner seeking help here. Does anyone know a macro for color coding? let's say I have 3 columns, A, B, and C. and to the right of each column is a blank column called 'updated A', 'updated B', and 'updated c, so 6 in total. Let's say I wanted to color all the blank columns yellow but they should only fill to the number of records. For example, if there was 20 rows/records, each of the blank columns would fill yellow 20 cells. If there was 3 records/rows, each of the blank columns would fill yellow 3 cells. The fill is determined by the number of rows. Conversely, you could also say simply fill in empty cells for each row where the empty cell resides within columns whose header contains the word 'updated '...

any help with this would be great.

    Thanks!

You could apply formatting to a contiuous form but, AFAIK, that will apply the format to the entire column. You will not be able to skip a Row/Record because it is null.
