Found this little response to a similar posting on accessmonster.com:

...Tried using an UNBOUND OLE control - it works nicely. Just use a recordset to
fetch your data and display from the unbound control when double clicking.
The error does not occur because Access/Acrobat doesn't need to update
    anything...

Don't know if this is going to help or not, but it may spark some inspiration in you, or others who can help.

    Dear Shane

I use a bound OLE control because I want to keep the data in the record.

When you tell to use a Unbound OLE control and "Just use a recordset to
fetch your data and display from the unbound control when double clicking", I'm not catching.

If you don't mind can you make a sample to me?

    Thanks in advance.
    Best regards.
