MS Access adp File Not Responding

Hi All,

I have an old existing ms access *.adp project that I used a few years ago and I want to start using it again, however it has a different SQL path than current and when I go to open the project MS Access just hangs and I get the "Not Responding" message and hangs for hrs without any change or timeout. I have tried holding down the shift key to try and bypass this issue on startup, however it doesn't make any difference.

Is there a way to change the server connection properties (without opening the project) or bypass the connection search so I can open up the project and change the connection properties?? Normally it should just time out and I can open the project to change properites, but not in this case.

Any help would be great!!

Have you tried making a new adp file and importing the objects from your old one?
