sorry if this has been asjked before but im having truble working out the values on a form.
i have a form called "Balance sheet" that works out the total value of items from a table called "account transactions"
this works really well.
what i would like to be able to do, but im having trouble with is this.
i would like to deduct 33% from the computer hardware row each year
the code i have on the form for the computer hardware for this year "In this case 2014 " is
=Nz(DSum("[Total Payment]","[Account Transactions]","[category]=1 and [Entry Date] between #" & Format([Forms]![Open Balance Sheet]![Start Date Txt Box],"mm\/dd\/yyyy") & "# And #" & Format([Forms]![Open Balance Sheet]![End Date Txt Box],"mm\/dd\/yyyy") & "#"),0)+([computerhardware-lastyear-txtbox])
([computerhardware-lastyear-txtbox]) is the sum total of all the hardware for last year "2013"
how do i do this?
