Creating a query that will retrieve different data from different records within the

I am trying to create a Database that will type our orders. I have a table with our customer list that includes both billing and shipping information. The problem is that sometimes one customer will request a "drop shipment" to another customer. Is it possible to retrieve different data from two different customers? Billing info for customer "A" and shipping info for customer "B" without creating seperate tables?

If you are in the design stage, you should focus on 2 things:

    1) write down your business rules and review them with other to make them as complete and accurate as feasible
    2) working from your business rules create a data model; and verify the model against your business rules; adjust as necessary until you and others are convinced the data model matches your business needs.

Then create the database. Don't jump into the database creation without fully understanding what you are trying to build.

Here is a tutorial to get you started.

Good luck with your project. Post back if you need anything.
