    How to change the field format on the excel that was imported to access database


    I imported an excel that has the exact field names of the current table that is in this access db.Before that I renamed the old table and made this upload new table instead.All fields that went in worked OK accept for one field which i need to change its format to percentage.How should I change the format?

    You can do this by editing the format in your table.

    When you import it, you have 3 options (seeing as your using access 2003, not sure if it's the same as 2010) but if you select the option where you can edit the source (excel sheet) and not the table, then you format the source sheet. Otherwise if you select the option where you edit the table and changes in the source won't be shown then you edit by formatting the table.
