    color number conversion

    I just seem to be having a mental block
    what i am trying to do is provide uses the option to change thier own form colors and also the html colors on e-mals

    so far i have been able to use the inbuilt color picker to set the backcolor for the fields i need to, and save that value with the customer setup options.

    What I'm having trouble doing is the e-mail colors,

    setting the html color is as follows and works fine - the valuse is stored as text - "00FF33"

    logo_color = DLookup("[email custom text color]", "[application data]", " [company title] = forms![consignment note tracking incoming]![to company] ")

    and use it here

    "<font color= " & logo_color & ">" & "Any views expressed in this Communication are those of the individual sender and do not necessarily reflect the views of " & _
    Me.To_Company & ". This e-mail is confidential and the copyright of " & Me.To_Company & _
    ". If you are not the intended recipient of this communication please delete and destroy it immediately. " & _
    "So far as is permitted by law " & Me.To_Company & " makes no guarantee regarding the integrity of this communication." & "</font>"

    That all works fine, my problem is i need to convert the number that access uses in the color picker to a 6 digit hex value so i can use that for the html email color.
    Is that possible?

    OR even to rgb value and i can manipulate that if that whould work.
