Transfer the value of a text box from a subform

Hello Guys
I'm trying to transfer the value of a text box from a subform to a main form
I've written something like this shows an error

=Nz([frmGroupsSubform]![txtTotal1];0)

You need the correct syntax to refer to a subform from the main form.

Have to reference the subform container control. I always name the container different from the object it holds, like: ctrDetails. Try:

=Nz([ctrDetails].Form![txtTotal1],0)
