Requiring date entry using dd/mm/yyyy regardless of your OS date/time settings

I am building a database that will be used by colleagues in various countries. I have a form that requires a date to be entered. I want to require that the date be entered as dd/mm/yyyy. I want the date to be stored in a table as mm/dd/yyyy.

I have investigated input masks but I could get this to work.

    Any ideas?

    And it won't. Review http://allenbrowne.com/ser-36.html

You can have them enter the date parts in separate boxes (like many web pages) and use code to construct the date value and save in date field.
How to attach file: http://www.accessforums.net/showthread.php?t=70301 To provide db: copy, remove confidential data, run compact & repair, zip w/Windows Compression.
