New Record not recognized in my queries

I have a database wit 260 records. I added a new record and then went to my queries to process the data. It does not recognize record 261. I have re-entered it several times and nothing. If I do a specific query with a build function looking for that record, it does work. But not for my other queries. HELP!

You do not state how you add the record, if via a form, the new record is held in a buffer until you move off the new record in te form, then a query will display the record.

I added the record via the table. It did not work. So I deleted it and then I added it again via a form. It is still not working. I have closed the database and it shows up in the correct table but when I run a query that connects this table to others, the record does not show up at all. I do not understand why. I have added other records via the table and they all worked. What is different now?

Can you post your database, or at least the relevant parts?

Did you close the table after adding the record?

I am not able to share this because it is confidential. I did save and then close the table after adding the record.

It may be that your query requires each record in the two joined tables to have a matching record. Try an outer join in the query.

    Cheers,

If there are things that are confidential then delete that stuff and post your database.

    How else can we help?
