filtering data using a multi select list box

I want to use a multi select list box to filter data in a query. I would like to do this on multiple fields. I can do this in excel, but have no Idea how to do this using a query. I'm not that well versed in SQL. Thanks

Not sure what you mean by 'on multiple fields' but along with what Paul referenced, maybe this will help http://allenbrowne.com/ser-62code.html

thanks for the input. In basic terms what I'm trying to do, is simulate the filtering that is available with a table in data sheet view. Instead of data sheet view I would like to perform this with a continous form.

    thank
