Are you talking about using this image like a "WaterMark" or is it the image of a form that needs completion? Is the report multipage?
It’s a single page paper form
I wanted to use it as a background and overlay the fields
Acrobat has this feature when making fill able forms in pdf
thanks fred
I've seen that described before. I believe you can just put the image on the report and send it to the back and then put your TextBoxes in front in the right location. Have you tried that?
I have a .jpg and a .tiff copy of my form. I added a image file in the detail area of my report Having issues with image being toooo big when I resize it to 8.5 x 11 and try to do a test print with just the image It wants to print 12 pages, 6 forms and 6 blanks I don’t know why. I figure if I can just get it to print the image overlaying the text boxes is the easy part What setting should I use to scan the original paper form?
Thanks fred
I believe the free Irfanview can do the convert and crop for you.
I resized the image and lowered the dpi from 600 to 150
Still cant get it to work
I can draw a 8x10 box and it will print fine
As soon as I add the image it wants to print on 6 pages with the image in the middle
I put the image in the 8x10 box and it sill want 6 pages
fred
Are you putting an image control on your report to hold the image?
I was using the inset from the menu
I just used the image holder and made it as big as my 8x10 box
Then selected my paper form image and set it to zoom
It worked it’s a bit smaller than the original put I got it to print
Now for the easy part
Thanks fred
i will go read the link now
