    Crew Scheduler

    Greetings,
    I've developed an Access solution that allows me to input team member schedules, and other relevant information.

    My goal is to develop the solution so that I can accomplish the following:

    1.) See which of my teams are currently active now;
    2.) See who is available to fill in on short notice.

    To give you more insight...
    I hire musicians and my workflow might be like this:

    Piano Player A is going to a gig on June 10 and finishes his gig July 10
    Player Player B replaces Piano Player A on June 10 and stays until September 10... Problem
    Player B gets fired and we need a replacement now...

    I'd like to go and see who is available at that moment to replace Piano Player B.

    The idea is to query by multiple instruments and see who has just finished an assignment and where they are going next.

    I'm aware of some excel solutions that would provide similar feedback - "Who's available now", "where is someone going next".
    I'm trying to figure out how to do this within Access.

    Any help or direction is much appreciated.

    Thanks,

    David

    Have you tried building queries of your tables?
