    Query based on dates - Query determine when employee needs training

    I have a training data base that I recently added date last trained. I am attempting a pre-emptive strike to avoid managment asking for this to what I hope is a fairly easy query...But I seem to be hitting a road block.

    Let's say I have a group of 20 people and all have been trained on tasks at various times. Company rules state that each employee must be re-certified every 8 weeks. I'd like to be able to run a query that would show employees that were trained 6-8 weeks ago as well as beyond 8 weeks.

    Can someone show me the best way to data mine this information?

    Thank you!

    A criteria like

    < DateAdd("d", -42, Date())

    should do it.
