    Relinking Tables

I have an FE DB and a BE DB. During FE development, their are times when I won't be connnected to the server, so I copy the BE DB to my local hard drive.

After performing the copy, I open the FE DB and go to Linked Table Manager. I select all tables and the checkbox for "Always prompt for new location." A window will open for the location of the first table. After locating the BE DB, click on open.

Sometimes it will relink all the tables, and sometimes the window opens for each linked table. Any idea why sometimes it links all the tables at once, and other times I have to find the location of the BE DB for each table?

Don't know, I deal with this programmatically. https://www.accessforums.net/access/...nge-36552.html
How to attach file: http://www.accessforums.net/showthread.php?t=70301 To provide db: copy, remove confidential data, run compact & repair, zip w/Windows Compression.
