Comcbo box creating new combo box after update

I am using Desktop Product Inventory Database template (available in template search: Access 2010). On Customer Order form, there is a combo box with name cboProductID. When you first open the form, there is only one combo box. After you make a selection, a new, empty combo box opens below it. How is this done? I can't find it in the AfterUpdate embedded macro nor anywhere else...

Don't have the template, but fairly confident that it's a new record that opens up when you start filling out the first one. My guess is that if you select something in the second, a third will appear below.

Any form in Continuous or Datasheet view that allows new records will act that way by default.

I played around with those settings and although useful for something else I need (thank you), it's not doing what I was asking. Nothing in the templates properties or macros seems to be set to continuous or datasheet.

I do however see a property Dynaset. Would this have anything to do with it?

BTW, I am very new to Access. I am trying to learn and build a db. Access is the only option that I am able to use due to restrictions on company network.

I looked at the sample, and apparently in a web database they call things differently. I haven't found that format to be worth using. In any case, what they call it now when you create the form is a "Multiple Items" form.

Thank you very much! It's going to take some work to get it to do what I want, but that really helped!!!!!! Finally Before you posted too, I realized it was a subform and was able to figure out some things after that. Appriciate your help!

P.S. Definitly not a fan of the web database either.... This was the closest template to a feature I wanted though.

Happy to help! You lose design view with a web db too, which is annoying.
