1) You'll need to be more specific with your questions, to get any useful help.
2) If you are looking to have an inventory and sales system, you should check out sites that have "generic" databases that already have most of the features you want, then customize those solutions for your particular needs.

There are basic inventory free sample databses all over the internet, but I don't know enough about any one site or database to recommend them.

I WOULD recommend that you visit Roger's access blog http://rogersaccesslibrary.com/ and read his tutorials about database design and application design. They will help you come up with some more specific and concrete questions to ask us.
