HELP PLS- Form Needs to Update 1 Field, based on Multiple ComboBox Selections

    Hi ,

Hopefully someone out there can help me. I'm very new to access and trying to create a form that updates information in a table that we'll call: Pricing Table

I have 3 main ComboBoxes on my form: Week, Product, Price.
The only one that actually updates in the Pricing Table is the Price ComboBox.

I'd like the user to be able to go in and select the Week, Product, and Price, and update the price based on the corresponding Week and Product.

So for example: If I want to change the price in week 30 for Apples to $5. I would select Week 30, Apples, and the $5 price point. Then I'd do the same for week 30 Oranges and select the corresponding price.

Sounds simple enough in my head, just don't know how to make it happen.

Currently, I can only get the tool to change the values in top row of the table, week1, first product listed...

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

What is the structure of your table(s)?

    Welcome to the forum

So you are trying to set up a search form?
You want to find a specific week (30) and a specific product (Apple). If the week and product is found you want display the record for editing?

    Hi Rural Guy and sanfu,
Thank you both for responding, but I was able to solve the problem by creating a query that pulled in the the Week and Product from the combo boxes on the form, and the original price from the table. Then just used the "update to" line and pulled in the price form the combo boxes on the form. That seems to be working. So onto the nex challenge
    Thanks again!

Excellent! It's always better when you are able to resolve you own issues. Much more to learn that way.
