Using Access 2010 64bit with Windows 7 64bit, the query design grid window creeps up a bit every time the query is reopened in design view. Eventually the top half, the part where the table sits, is completely covered. Does anyone know how to dock the bottom half of the grid to the bottom of the window?

To help clarify my post, I have added a screen shot showing my Access Query window maximized and two different monitor settings. Behavior is same on both monitors; pc specs same.

    Never experienced that.

Does it happen if db set for Overlapping Windows instead of Tabbed Documents?

    I always use Overlapping Windows.

Yes it happens with overlapping windows also. I just ran a quick test on the same database I used in example and the grid creeps up each time I save, close & reopen the query. On my monitor appears to creep up just enough to cover the next item showing in the table in top half of window.

Looks like you tested with different monitors. That was with different computers?

I have no clue, never seen this.

Repost of Access 2010 Query Design Grid Creeps Up When Queries Are Reopened

Thought I've try again to see if anyone has experienced the issue I'm having with the Access 2010 Query Design Grid Creeping Up When Queries Are Reopened. Appears to be unrelated to specific monitors or specific computers.
Anyone seen this? (see thread) Anyone have a fix? My current pc: Dell OptiPlex, Windows 7 64bit; Access 2010 32bit.

I will revise my earlier statement. I have seen queries open with the top section sized to the point nothing is visible in it. I drag the dividing bar down and save the query, then open in datasheet. Next time query opens in design it is all viewable. What I haven't experienced is the 'creeping' behavior. Also never used Access 64-bit.

I was a bit distracted on first post; I am using Access 2010 32-bit. At least it good to know that someone else has experienced the top section sized to the point nothing is visible. Unfortunately for me, as soon as I drag it down to position, close and reopen, grid starts creeping up until it's again at the top. Maybe someone from MS will see this post and provide a fix. Thanks.

I have Windows 7 64-bit and Access 2010 32-bit. Never seen that 'creeping' behavior. Does it happen with every db? Maybe reinstall Access?

Unfortunately, it happens across all installs. (20+)
