    Split database

I have a split data base but it takes forever. I am wondering if I do not have the front end connected to the back end correctly. I looked at some directions for linked table manager. I have 2010 and there is no linked table manger that I can see. I also looked at Share and there is nothing there.

If tables have a little arrow at left side then this is a table link. Right click on table to select Linked Table Manager from the shortcut menu.

If the Manager item is greyed out then there are no table links set in the db.

When splitting a db, most tables are in backend file. "Temp" tables will reside in the frontend but that is a different matter.

Access has a utility for splitting db but I never used it. I manually split db.
