    Relationship Structure

Can someone advise please the best way construct a new database project.

The purpose of the database is for physician compensation. I have an employee roster as my primary table with the Emp# as the primary key. A second table to enter WRVUs; WRVUs are the determining factor for compensation; this file also has an Emp# field.

My third source is a universal rate table provided by the government that dictates the rate based on RVUs and other factors. This table is updated each year with new median percents and needs to be a history building table in Access. The problem is this table does not have any reference of employees . . . no Emp# . . . names, etc. So how do I link this is the relationship window? . . . I'm guessing I would use a junction table perhaps . . . it's been a few years, if someone can advise please.

    Many Thanks.

Oh, sorry, I should say each file has a "specialty" field, but when I try to link the employee roster specialty field to the specialty field in the government file, I get a "intermediate" option instead of one to many.
