Okay I will post a few settings / specs.
Windows 7 Ultimate (English)
Microsoft Office Enterprise 2007 (English)
Formats : French (Canada) but it's the same on my laptop
Keyboard : French (Canada) but I don't think the keyboard layout should or would or does interfere with syntax in the program..

Sorry, at a total loss for ideas, other than setting computer back to factory conditions and reinstalling everything ....
