    Date difference

    Hi all, I recently started at a new company, and they left me with windows XP and Office 2003, expecting miracles,
    I am having a problem with a expression n a query field.

    I need to work out the time it takes for a branch to send in a quote from the time of the receipt of a vehicle (in days)

    This is easy, but when there is no date in the *date quote sent* column, it must use the current date (Date()) to work out the days since the quote has been outstanding.

    I am struggling with the "iif" rule...Please help

    Kevin

    You don't use to IIF, you can use NZ, which tells Access what to use in the case of a Null value:
    NZ([Date Quote Sent],Date())-[Other Date Field]
