Basic help linking data to a report?

    Hey all,

I'm trying to generate a report for my warehouse.

We have a report (pick list) that we generate that displays items we need to pull, their name, options, etc.

I'm trying to add the items barcode to this report.

Now, i have another report (Barcode Label) that actually just prints an item's barcode that we put on our products.

I'm not good with reports, but I don't know who to ask for help on this. The company that makes our software is not creating any custom reports at this time so I'm trying to do it on my own.

I have the updated (Pick List) report created. I have the fields put in there that will hold the barcode's barcode font, and below it the readable font version of the barcode.

I have copied all the settings (that I know of) from my barcode report to the picklist report in an effort to get the barcode to display but when I try to print the report a window pops up asking me to type in the bacode.

So obviously I'm not linked to it correctly.

Can anyone point me in the right direction as to how to link my two fields to the barcode data?

    THANKS!!!

You need to look into the Report's Recordsource.

In design view open the Properties box and go to the Data tab

Hey thanks alot for taking a look at my problem.

Right now both my actual barcode report, and my pick list report (that I want a barcode on) both use the same record source (i changed the pick list)

I'm sure it's report specific but it is called: barcodelabelquery

I went to that and double clicked the three periods to the right and this is the screen that comes up?

I'm really clueless what to do here? Any ideas?

    Where is the field bacode???

Try draging the * from the second table in your query into the grid.

If this does not work then we need to look more deeply.
