Does anyone know if I can run Access 2003 apps on the new Windows 7 OS? I have a number of 2003 apps running on XP and Vista but I would like to upgrade to 7.

I do not have a difinitive answer but I've heard nothing in the MVP forums. I would real surprised (and disappointed) if it fails to run without problems.
Thanks for your feed back - I guess I will need up grade a cpu and test with it to learn the problems.
I doubt you will find any problems. I think Win7 is the OS that MS should have released when they sent out Vista. They learned their lesson. It does require better hardware then XP needed though.
I wasn't thinking I would have problems with Win 7 - maybe Running Access 2003 on it. I am only hearing good things about 7. I have a 6 year old 1 gb Dell with XP Pro. I guess it's time to make an investment - maybe Jan 2010. Thanks
I have exactly the same situation with my hardware and desire something new.
Hi needafix
A visit to the Windows 7 Compatibility Center should clear up any questions you may have -- http://bit.ly/4uZDu2 .

Hi, I do not know if any of you had a problem, but I did. One of my database users has been upgraded to Windows 7, and now the code to send smtp mail is not working.
You can see the thread here: http://www.access-programmers.co.uk/...hlight=mafhobb
I still do not know what is going on.
