I have created a database, and split it, for use by approximately 18-20 people in my workplace.
Currently both BE and FE are located on the shared drive. I had intended to put a copy of the FE on everyone's C drive, but I was still making some design changes and decided to wait until I was done.
Now, it seems to be working quite well, and as we don't have many users, and only one editor, I'm wondering if it's okay to keep the FE on the shared drive?
It would mean I can make updates whenever I like and not bother people with having to upload new versions.
We don't have any password protection or anything, we just have a form for editing/admin that everyone knows not to use.
OR perhaps there is a way of putting it on the local drive, and making sure everyone has the most up-to-date version? Right now I'm pretty sure that unless I go around to everyone's computer and update it, no-one will bother to do it themselves.
thanks
