    Status bar not showing field description when add or edit data


    When editing a record in Access 2003, the status bar would show the value of each field’s description from the table design grid. Is there a way to get Access 2010 to do the same? Thank you

    It is available in Access 2010 . Are you sure the status bar is displayed or not turned off by code ? Check File>Options>Current Database>Display Status Bar
    One more option is in control's Property Sheet> Other>Status Bar Text.
