    Hi

I have Access 2010 DB on my XP machine. I am the only one who uses the DB, not a shared DB. Out of a sudden, I started getting this message:

"You do not have exclusive access to the database at this time. If you proceed to make changes, you may not be able to save them later."

I copied the DB to a new name
    I did the compact repair
I made sure to close and there is no laccdb running on the side.

I continue to get the same error!

Any idea what could be causing this?

Update: Here is one thing i noticed.
If I open the DB and make changes, then the DB will allow me to save the cahnges.
If I do a run (e.g.; debug), Stop debug, I can no longer do changes to the VBA code. Only way to make changes is to exit the DB, come back in, make changes, save changes and then debug again.

    Very strange.

    Thanks
    Mike

    Very strange. Maybe a Re-Install.
