    design view too small

Any way to zoom in on the design view? I can see the datasheet view just fine, but on some queries/reports and forms when I switch to design view all the text shrinks down to nothing and I cannot read any of it. I do not want to change font sizes because that will mess up my reports.

    Thanks

I have to say I have never encountered what I think you're saying. The size of your report/form objects does not change from design view to print preview, and if it is it should be happening universally, not on 'some' of them. The only thing I can think of is to go to your tools > options > datasheet and see if your font size is something tiny, but you're experiencing something with your design that you say is inconsistent which makes it a bit baffling.

If you look at the screenshot you will see what I mean. It applies to everything, sorry for the confusion. At least I think I attached a screenshot. I am using Access 2003, so I could not find the tools>options>datasheet per your suggestion. Thanks for the help.

Think you meant you are using 2007 (or 'NOT using 2003').
Click the Office button to get the Options dialog.
The display looks normal to me. If you want to provide file for analysis, follow instructions at bottom of my post.

Your right, I am using 2007.

What I am trying to do can be done in Excel, you can ctrl-mouse wheel to zoom in an out without changing the properties of the font or any of the formatting. That is the function I want in design view, and print preview for that matter.

    Does that make sense?
