    Access 2010, add-ons and active-x, Possibilities?

I have Access 2010 Through Office 2010. I have been watching Access tutorials where the instructor appears to magically pull constants (code samples) into forms or VBA build areas. The last example was a calendar found with an active-x tab. He is using Access 2007 to teach from. Are these tools available to my version of Access? Are they add-ons or does he have a higher level Access (studio or??)? Currently I have no way of knowing what cand procedures, functions or constants are available unless I stumble across them in my reading! Any guidance would be appreciated. TIA Phil

Sounds like add-ons or fancy special effects. There are a lot of coding aids for sale. Review https://www.accessforums.net/program...one-33868.html

There are no 'levels' for Access license, just new versions. I understand 2013 is now available.
