Make foreign key on subform invisible in form view

    Image posted here.

This issue relates to subforms. I have a foreign key field that I want to hide in form view. I selected "Visible = No" in the properties sheet, but the field still shows in form view. What other options are there for achieving this that do not include highly complex hand coding, since I'm not a programmer.

    Thanks

I have noticed that access will occasionally get confused when edition a subform within a main form.

    My steps would be:
Try closing the main form, open just the subform, edit the property, close the form, compile and repair, open the main form.

The next thing would to be to open just the subform, delete the control, close, open the form, re-add the control, set the visible property.

If the control is not visible in just the subform, but is visible when in the main form, delete the subform control and re-add the subform.

Please reply to this thread with any new information or opinions.
