Boston Workstation, Ring a bell for anyone?

Hello. It was brought to my attention that some people in my company are doing scripting. However, they are using this product suite called Boston Workstation.

I started poking around and found this PDF...

    http://www.bostonsoftwaresystems.com...tion%208.0.pdf

I found an interesting statement in this form..

"While the Rules are constructed, displayed, and edited from the WorkStation, behind the scenes Boston WorkStation is generating Visual Basic code. Any modifications
made to Actions within VBA will be reflected directly in the script outline and vice
versa. The process of defining rules, conditions and actions is performed
automatically as the scripter teaches Boston WorkStation to send keystrokes, mouse
clicks or capture information from the screen. "

It seems that this is a GUI interface that automatically builds the VBA code behinds the scenes.
    My questions are as follows.

1.Should I bother learning this, considering I can already program in the source code? VBA?
2.Does anyone here have an experience with these types of GUI applications? Applications that build code for you?

Only if you think it can help you learn new code that you can then plagiarize for your db development, like recording a macro in Excel to discover new code.

I've seen many Access third-party add-in code development tools but never used any. This product doesn't appear to be an Access add-in. The only add-in I've ever used is Rick Fisher's Find and Replace.
How to attach file: http://www.accessforums.net/showthread.php?t=70301 To provide db: copy, remove confidential data, run compact & repair, zip w/Windows Compression.
