    Automagic today's date

    My database has a field for the date that the record was last modified, which is leftover from its early form as an excel spreadsheet. I would like for this to be easily updated with the current date, (the current data type is Date/Time, short date format) when something in the record is changed. I see how to do this for new records, but can't seem to puzzle it out for existing ones. Thanks in advance!

    Put the following line of code in the form's BeforeUpdate event:
    Me.NameOfYourTextbox = Date()
    You will need to change NameOfYourTextbox with the appropriate name.
    If this helped, please click the star at the bottom left of this posting and add to my reputation . Many thanks.
