    Re-Filter report within form

what i have is a form with a report inside of it (i just drug it in and dropped it). the report filters off of a field in the form. So upon opening the form, the report filters correctly. however as i browse through the form records, the report doesn't update. i can't figur out how to get it to update with the form its on. i've tried report.requery in the form_current area but it doesn't seem to re-apply the filter

Reports are not really intended to be interactive. Does the main report have a RecordSource? Is the subreport linked to the main report dataset? A subreport/subform cannot dictate the parent filter. Never seen this tried with a report.

Figured it out. i was basing the subreport off a query and then filtering it to the forms current value. but if i remove the filter and apply it in the sql as a condition it updates along with the form as i scroll through. Thanks or your help
