How to use the value selected from a combo box, Remember the value for later use opt

I am learning access and have been working with some forms and in the form I have created one
working combo box that I select an option such as medical and that value is then added to the
table that I am working with, works fine. In the combobox wizard there is an option to Remember
the value for later use. I wanted to try this to see if I can process this in VBA but how do I get

the value that was selected? below attached is the photo of the option in the wizard.
