    close button on ribbon

All. I am trying to find a way to hide the close button on the ribbon. My 2007

and 2010 users keep closing the database by the "x" and it's driving me nuts. I
have an exit on the switchboard. I tried to disable navigation and ribbons under
options and it hides everything except the x. I tried the code:

    Code:
    docmd.showtoolbar "ribbon", astoolbarno
    in
    the startup form
Still doesn't give me what I want. Has anyone been
    successful at this?
    thanks

Not sure can disable the big nasty X, but can sort of trap it. Review http://www.fmsinc.com/microsoftacces...eventclose.asp
How to attach file: http://www.accessforums.net/showthread.php?t=70301 To provide db: copy, remove confidential data, run compact & repair, zip w/Windows Compression.
