    Since it is numeric sorting it will put it order like this: 1, 10,11,12.....
    When I leave it as it was entered in the form it is in order as it should be.
    Adding Group 1 is what is creating the disorder. Can't find away around it, so far.

    I didn't add any grouping to your report. I just change those two properties of the Footer.

    Removing the group =1 doesn't give me what I need for the total and signature. Everything works great except the Ref# order.
    I tried removing the new group and checked the report footer and they were both set on none.

    I was able to get that but I have to have the signatures and total to follow the information as I have in the new DB. Here is the latest one.

    MVP Duane Hookom gave me the answer. Open the Report property sheet and go to the Format tab. Page Header needs to be set to "All Pages". The footer then starts printing right after the Detail section.
