Splitting a database with a cloud service

My office uses a cloud service to share information, including our client database. I want to split the database to prevent data corruption but if changes are made to the front end and the back end is located on my system will the updates from other users still push to the back end?

I don't know much about cloud service but seems have seen thread on this before and the poster's experience was that the fe and be could not be linked through the cloud.
How to attach file: http://www.accessforums.net/showthread.php?t=70301 To provide db: copy, remove confidential data, run compact & repair, zip w/Windows Compression.

Ok thanks. I was also thinking I'll just back up the information on a separate drive and copy it on a regular basis. I just don't want people to have access to my tables and mess up all my hard work but we are a very small company and there are only 5 people in the office so it shouldn't be too hard.
