List Box selection not entering data in table

Something weird here is happening. . . .
I added a list box that references names of employees from an employee table and is supposed to then input the referenced name onto another table when I save the form, but is not doing so. In the past I have had no troubles with doing this but now for some reason I cannot. Does someone know of a way to correct?

Is it multiselect? Does it have a control source?

No only can choose one Employee
Yes, the control source is the name of the employee to the table I want to send that name to.
It works immediately after generating the list box for the 1st time, but then never again. ????

I'm stumped then. Can you post the db here? Or maybe try a decompile first:

A few moments ago I reloaded Access on my computer. At the moment it seems to have taken care of the issue.
I'm going to keep this thread open until later today until I see if the problem returns.
Thank You for your support pbaldy.

No problem. It was odd for it to work once and never again.

Yes it is, I tried adding and deleting the list box numerous times with the same results.
So far everything is still working
