That's when the database is split into 2 parts, a front end and a back end.Front end contains all of your forms.queries.macros,reports and modules and back end contains ONLY the tables. If your in a network environment this is the way to go or an environment where you have multiple user who can access the database. You split the database and then they are linked together by the location of the front and back ends. You may want to have the back end with the tables stored ideally on the server in a shared folder and then each user can have a local copy of the front end on their pc or at least a link to where it is stored. Did that take care of your problem?
