Multi-table query - what if no record in linked table?

I am using a multi-table query built into a form. My understanding is that when I search for something in the first table (which is my key), it will not return a result unless there is a corresponding record to which that table is linked in the second and third tables as well. Is there a way I could set it so it will return the result of the first table even if there is no corresponding record in the second and third tables to which it is linked? Thanks. Tony

Try changing the type of join between the tables. The following link may be of help: http://office.microsoft.com/en-gb/ac...010096320.aspx
If this helped, please click the star at the bottom left of this posting and add to my reputation . Many thanks.
