ask - Design View menu can't be accessed

Hello everyone, I'm just registered today.

I need help. I try to open .MDE with hold shift button. I want to edit length of field in the form and report.


but, menu "design view" is grey, can't be selected.

need help please.

Cannot edit design of .MDE file. That's the whole reason for an .MDE, protect the design. Must edit the .MDB and then convert to .MDE file.

thanks for info. is there a way to convert MDE into MDB? or I need the MDB file as a "Source code"?

There might be some third part software that could convert an MDB but I don't know. Yes, need MDB file as source.
