Excel files on sharepoint linked to access

Hi Guys,



I have a sharepoint site with 10 excelfiles.

Need tips regarding linking these excel files to an access database.

When trying I get the following message:
"Only XML can be imported from an internet address (http://,ftp://). Enter a path that points to a location on your computer or on the network.

Hi Stingaway,
Now Im copying the files to my computer and then importing (creating link) the files to my database.
If someone edits the files on sharepoint, I copy and paste the file to my computer.


I need a solution for the following.

A colleague edits an excelfile on sharepoint and it reflects in my access database instantly.
- This can by solved by a sharepoint list, but we all prefer to use tables in excel files.
